I really hate how every time I buy tickets from Fandango I get 4 subsequent marketing e-mails trying to get me to buy more stuff…

I just saw Shiny Toy Guns at Varsity Theater (they have songs on their MySpace).  It was the first time I’ve seen this band and had a really great time.  They were loud, had more keyboards than band members, and an industrial-grade fog machine.  They really rocked.

One of the openers, Jonezetta, was one of the better openers I’ve seen.   They also had a dedicated tambourine/cowbell player.  They have some songs on their MySpace too.
